Chris is a
special needs teacher at the Edith Borthwick School in
Bocking, near Braintree. At her Island home close by the sea
at West Mersea, she has built up quite a reputation taking
photos for the local newspaper, The Courier. She is also in
demand to record local events, such as rugby and football
matches and Island occasions like the regatta and boat races
on the Blackwater.
Chris is a valued
member of Mersea Island Camera Club and has exhibited her
work in the Mercury Theatre, Colchester Library and at
various art shows in the County. Her work can be seen and is
for sale in many of the local shops and cafes around the
Island.
She says she is not
interested in changing, adding or indeed altering what she
sees in any way, believing that beauty is in the eye of the
beholder. |
