Oxfordshire-based
Stelios describes himself as a "keen amateur [but has] recently
started taking photography more seriously". As proof of this,
he's set up a website
from which he sells his images, and earlier this year held his first
exhibition in a local gallery (Stelios's work is currently being
stocked by Penny Farthing Galleries in Banbury).
"I
am resolutely a 35mm photographer", he explains, "using
either a Pentax MZ7 or MZ5N. I prefer to experiment with different
films rather than sticking with one or two, and have just taken
my first photographs using B&W infrared film."
"I
enjoy photographing various subjects, from flora to people. I derive
great inspiration from Northumberland - especially it's heritage
coastline - and classic motorsport. The Goodwood Festival of Speed
is always a good source of subject matter."
